Message From The President
Greetings from Excom 2023!!
Here we are in our second month already since the election of my team and I to lead this Legacy organisation, the Indian Ladies Association into its 68th year. As your President, I look back at the path carved by the many hardworking and amazing ladies who led the ILA before me and I can see I have some pretty big shoes to fill! But I am confident that you, our members, will be with us every step of the way, as we plan and create a bouquet of events and ILA happenings that reflect the talent of our members and take forward the ILA spirit of service to the community.
My journey to this post as Hon. President has taken 11 years during which I have been fortunate to work in various positions in the committee and as a coordinator of Sneha. This gave me a chance to explore my own ability and my keen desire to channel my work for the community through the ILA.
We have already started the year with a lovely Ramadan Ghabga for members and also an Eid Milan. We are fortunate to have a visionary person as our patron Ms. Monika Srivastava, who always suggests innovative ideas and I know with her help and support my team can do lot more in ILA this year
Our different sub-committees are also beginning their year’s work. As we step into this year, we have plans to expand our work and activities and move to a spacious premises which is befitting of the ILA that will be 70 years old in two years.
Ladies, we need each and every one of you to support us and participate enthusiastically as we continue to build bridges of friendship, service and charity across communities. We are eager to welcome new members who will widen our ability to serve the community and support each other.
With the support you all well-wishers the Managing Committee 2023 shall strive to uphold the legacy of ILA and make this a memorable year for all.
Dil se sabke saath..
