Shipra Dhir Passi is a Corporate Finance Post Graduate with a diploma in Information Technology from NIIT, India. She is an entrepreneur and having worked in the Corporate industry for 11 years she followed her passion for different forms of art like painting, event management, anchoring, traveling, film making, freelance writing, poetry, and dance choreography.
She has been associated with ILA for 3 years and served as Coordinator of the Women Empowerment subcommittee last year. With her skills and experience we are counting on her to Lead the ILA team as President and contribute towards the society and further add to ILA’s list of Achievements.

Ms Anjali Gupta
Hon. Vice President

Anjali Gupta is a graduate from Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University. She is an ex Banker having worked in a nationalized bank in India and has been in Bahrain for the last 15 years.
She is associated with various social organizations to pursue her passion to serve the community in Bahrain. She has been in ILA for the last 4 years. She was the first coordinator for the newly formed Women’s Empowerment subcommittee in the year 2020. Has been the Vice President for the year 2021 and is continuing as the Vice President this year as well. She is a member and past Secretary of the Lions Club of Riffa and Charter member and current President of C2A Toastmasters Club.

Ms Tejender Kaur Sarna
Hon. General Secretary

Dr. Tejender Kaur Sarna (Doctorate in Nutrition) is a Qualified Consultant Lifestyle Nutritionist and a Meal Planner. She is an academician, YouTuber, an influencer and has a work experience of more than 20 years. Highly qualified with an urge to learn more, she keeps on upgrading her knowledge in the field of Onco-nutrition, FODMAP, Diabetes, Ayurveda Nutrition and NCDs. She is the founder of GHK RiteDiet that caters to diet consultation for Lifestyle disorders. Her passion to get associated with social causes led her to join Rotary International and her last position held was as Secretary (RID 3050) for the year 2012-13. She was also an Executive member of Indian Women’s Association at Ethiopia. With several academic awards and certifications to her career, she is now actively connected to the community and doing webinars, seminars and sessions for all age groups and at all social platforms and in person to make people aware of their health. She joined Indian Ladies Association in 2021, became an active SubCommittee Coordinator for Beauty and Health Sub com in 2022 and took up the post of Hon. General Secretary. Within a short span of 18 months in Bahrain, with her enthusiastic, confident, experienced and positive nature she is one of the active members in the Indian Community and wishes to serve the community for long.

Ms Kiran Mangle
Hon. Treasurer

Kiran Mangle, a jovial and compassionate individual, is an out of the box thinker, strategist, and a financial Consultant.
These skills are imbibed in her through her education and experience. She has graduated from Mumbai University with a Major in Economics and acquired her Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance . She has worked in various organisations in Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain with 15 years of corporate experience. She has been in GCC for the past 23 years, out of which 19 years she is a resident of Bahrain.
She is currently a financial advisor for an insurance company and Member of Angels Toastmaster and their subcommittee as a Treasurer. Last year she worked in the Youth Wing Sub-committee for Indian Ladies Association. Now, she has been elected as Executive Committee member and assigned the role of Honorary Treasurer for the Indian Ladies Association, 2022.
She pursues her passion as an event organizer and Master of Ceremony for many events and community gatherings. With a knack for dealing with stressful situations and time constraints, she is known and appreciated by many as an excellent organizer and manager. She has a natural ability to jell with fellow peers. There is never an occasion where she does not give her all, and always ensures that the event is a success.

Sumithra Balu is a Commerce Graduate from the University of Bangalore. She started her Career as a HR with renowned Organizations. She was associated with Mafoi Randstad, She later continued to work for Multinational Organizations like Wipro Ltd, for IT Leadership Talent Acquisition. After moving to Bahrain and after taking a break from Corporate life she has followed her passion for Business and has set up an Event Management Firm in Bahrain. She is very Social, Cheerful, loves meeting new people and likes to explore new opportunities for Collaboration.

Ms Alifiya Rahil Hussain

Alifia Rahil Hussain is a finance graduate and joins us in the capacity of Membership Secretary this year. She has several years of experience working in Banks in Bahrain and is now the CEO of Kingdom Pride Center, a family business enterprise. She has been a resident in Bahrain for more than 30 years.
Alifiya is a big believer in giving back to society and supports many charitable endeavors with the creation of her own initiative Nobody Ever Sleeps Hungry (NESH) in Bahrain, a crowdfunding based food support drive.
This year as ILA Membership Secretary Alifiya hopes to inspire others to join and contribute to the fantastic initiatives undertaken under this umbrella.

Meenakshi Sharma is a graduate from Delhi University and also holds a B.Ed degree. She had worked as a teacher with many reputed educational institutions in Bahrain. She is passionate about singing,dancing,writing bhajans/articles, hosting shows on social media, script writing, doing program coordination and also Hindi news reader at Bahrain Media City.
She has been awarded as an “Exceptional Women of Excellence” by Women Economic Forum, London, UK
She has been associated with ILA for 4 years and served as Hon. General Secretary in 2019 for a short term. She is confident that with her experience and areas of interest she can fairly contribute to her duties as Hon. Entertainment Secretary for the year 2022 to the best of her efforts.
